About Me

I’m Kari, founder of Adventure Bound Travels and a second-generation travel advisor. My mom worked in the industry too, though I found my own way into it. I’ve seen firsthand how the right advisor can change the whole experience of a trip.

These days I specialize in luxury and premium cruises, world cruises, Alaska cruise vacations, and guided tours to places like Ireland and Scotland. Whether you’re after a small ship cruise, a premium cruise line upgrade, or a fully escorted land tour, I’ll match you with an itinerary that actually fits how you like to travel, and handle every detail from planning through the trip home.

My job isn’t just booking a reservation. It’s being the person you hire to take the guesswork out of travel and make sure things go right the first time. I work with the top cruise lines and tour operators, and I stay on top of every detail so you don’t have to. I’m your advocate the whole way through.

When I’m not planning someone else’s next trip, I’m usually off exploring a new destination myself. Y’all, the sacrifices I make in the name of research, but I’m not complaining.

Ready to start planning? Let’s talk.

A little more about where this has taken me: at the 2026 Outside Agents National Conference, Azamara’s CEO chose to highlight me out of more than 13,000 advisors across our host agency, in front of about 400 fellow advisors in the room. There’ve been a few other nice surprises along the way too. You can read the whole story on my Recognition page.
